Anyone these days can be a photographer, buy an expensive camera and supply an amazing setting. the photographs should be fantastic...but are they?

I discovered photography when I was 15. It was introduced to me at school where I became addicted to it straight away. Once I left school I went to college to study photography in more detail. I knew I wanted to be a photographer but never knew which field to specialise in. After college, both me and friend began working as commercial photographers. We did this for around 3-4 years before I took a little turn in my career and became e graphic designer for a large motor manufacturerer. Two years ago a friend asked if i would cover their wedding! Always willing to help anyone, I said yes but warned them that I've never photographed a wedding before. They didn't mind, they had seen my photographic work and wanted someone they knew to shoot their wedding. Well it was the hardest thing I ever did do! The stress was immense, I wanted their shots to be perfect...! The newly weds were very happy with their photographs and I felt fantastic, a phrase I used to describe how I did, was "What a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon, watching and recording two people who are so obviously in love" With that phrase, I thought “i’d like to do more of this”, so I have. After the last two years I have shot a number of weddings and also portrait sessions which are fabulously fun and produce some fantastic results.

I get an enormous amount of pleasure in your reaction when you see your photographs, I have had tears of absolute delight to laughter of some of our comical shots that I love to do.
I also take on some of my own little projects, I love the coast, the sea. So this is what usually gets photographed. However I have recently become a fan of some urban decay. So why not take a look at some of my own personal projects in the gallery section.

We had a family photoshoot which was really fun, friendly and relaxed. The kids were encouraged to be very much themselves and the final photos really showed this off, capturing everbody's personalities in a unique way. The service was excellent and the final photos and large prints were of extremely good quality and something special that can be treasured for years to come. If you want a passport photo then go to a photo booth, if you want something a bit special then I would recommend 'Just Hitched' to anyone without hesitation!

We were made to feel really relaxed and comfortable during our photoshoot, and we enjoyed having our photo's taken - which is a first! The photos have come back better than we could ever have imagined - so much so that we are booking another session for when Baby finally arrives! Exceptional 5*
